Dr. Debbins is a researcher at the Keller Center for Imaging Innovation. His clinical interests include developing advanced pulse sequences to improve the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders. His research interests include diffusion magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), diffusion tensor and diffusion kurtosis MRI, and perfusion methodologies including arterial spin labeling. Dr. Debbins is also interested in the technical aspects of functional MRI, and he is a contributor to the MRI core of the Arizona Alzheimer’s Research Consortium. He is a reviewer for the Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Journal of Magnetic Resonance Engineering. He has written or co-written 13 peer-reviewed journal articles and has presented at more than 30 international conferences, both academically and professionally. He holds 12 U. S. and five European patents.
